The Painted Ground: Now With More Blinking Text!
Happy Monday, kids! You know what Mondays mean, don't you? Yes! It's:
Your Ever-Lovin' Restroom Attendant, still filling in for DDT, has decided to post one of his own. Partially because I can and partially because 2 of the 3 links DDT provided for download have been deleted. The third is a Mountain Goats song. As loyal readers of the Painted Ground would agree, the Mountain Goats are cool, but so is variety. Let's hear something different, courtesy of Brazil's most popular group, Pato Fu! Enjoy!
By the way: What's up with this picture above? I argue that the use of the number five is totally inappropriate. I know, I know, it's meant to say "Create Jobs." However, it makes no sense to me. If the number eight is part of the first word, then logically the number five should be part of the second word. It's called a pattern. We all took our SATs, didn't we? Therefore, it should logically read "Create Jobfive." That makes no damned sense. Any input?
Until tomorrow kids, when the Y.E.L.R.A.'s penultimate day at the Painted Ground takes place. Have a great day.
xo,
Y.E.L.R.A.

Hmm--cre8ing a certain kind of job maybe, like the 8am-5pm type of job.... You know the JOB5 kind of job, the job that's the middle of the road, that takes up the middle portion of your day, the 5th job on your list of what you wanted to be when you grew up. The JOBS may be for rich people but all I got is a 5 and some spray paint--so I'm gonna make do.
