Or else we'd have nothing to do here at the Painted Ground. And we all know what the "late 20's" can do to people. Or streets. Well, we were listening to the confirmation hearings here at Painted Ground Central, and we couldn't help but giggle at some of the opening statements where the tone of which felt like the Senators were telling us that "he had this, um, friend who heard that maybe liked this, um..." That and the crying guy who managed to make us feel uncomfortable so many thousands of literal and metaphorical miles away.
