We here at the Painted Ground North HQ were sad to see that Portland Youth Gang Outreach Czar John Canda was canned today, and we couldn't agree with Mssr. Davis more. We interviewed him for the Sentinel on more than one occasion and it was clear to us that this man was the guy you wanted at such a post. More vision from Potter, we guess.

On a totally unrelated, but still fully inside baseball, our dear partner T.A.F.K.A.Y.E.L.R.A. deserves a hearty shout-out for landing his first big post-school J.O.B. Congrats! One hopes you'll post more than JM, yeah?
